  UT700 ultrasonic thickness gauge is equipped with single crystal high-frequency probe, which can measure the thickness of ordinary thin parts, and the minimum thickness can reach 0.15mm The measurement range is 0.15-20mm.
  The instrument is equipped with a 15M high-frequency single crystal probe, and the internal part of the probe is an imported chip, so that the measured value can be accurate to 0.001mm, and the output value is fast and the repeatability is relatively high. It is an ideal instrument for measuring thin parts.

Basic Principles

  The principle of ultrasonic thickness measurement is similar to that of optical wave measurement. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe reaches the measured object and propagates in the object. When it reaches the material interface, it is reflected back to the probe. The thickness of the measured material is determined by accurately measuring the time of ultrasonic propagation in the material.

  The instrument adopts the "echo-echo" technology to remove the coating thickness on the surface of the workpiece and measure the net thickness of the body. Due to the use of single crystal thickness probe, the lower limit of the measurement range can reach 0.15mm.
